La estructura
Tres piezas y ninguna concordancia: will be más la tercera forma.

Para qué se usa
Anuncios, calendarios y planes oficiales:
- The road will be closed for two weeks.
- Successful applicants will be contacted by email.
- Lunch will be served at one.
La pasiva encaja aquí porque la organización que hace el trabajo es evidente o no importa.
going to be
El mismo significado, algo más hablado, y con el plan ya hecho:
The building is going to be demolished.
Detrás de un modal
Cualquier modal sigue la misma forma: modal, be, tercera forma:
It must be signed. It can be replaced. It should be checked.
Merece practicarse, porque la pasiva detrás de un modal sale constantemente en instrucciones y normas.
Dónde se tuerce para un hispanohablante
«La carretera estará cerrada» y «la carretera será cerrada» se parecen en español, pero en inglés hay una diferencia clara: will be closed es la acción (alguien la cierra), will be closed como estado se diría will remain closed. Cuando dudes, piensa si describes el acto o la situación.
Y el be se olvida al traducir: «el paquete se entregará mañana» no tiene nada que corresponda a be, así que sale The parcel will delivered. En inglés la pasiva son siempre dos piezas, y will no sustituye a be.
