La contraction accroche will au pronom : I’ll have been, she’ll have been.
By the time the season ends [échéance], he will have been playing for the club for fifteen years [durée].
for, et rarement since
By December we will have been waiting for eight months.
Next spring the shop will have been trading for a hundred years.
By May he will have been working here for a year.
Comptez les pièces : will, have, been, le verbe, -ing. Les deux erreurs ci-dessus en perdent une chacune — work au lieu de working, has au lieu de have.
« Ça fera un an que » devient for a year à la fin.
|---|---|
| **Ça fera dix ans qu’**on habite ici | We will have been living here for ten years |
| **Ça fera huit mois qu’**on attend | We will have been waiting for eight months |
| **Ça fera quinze ans qu’**il joue au club | He will have been playing for the club for fifteen years |
By May…, By December…, By the time the season ends…
Et après by the time, l’anglais met le présent : by the time the season ends, et non will end.
→ Next spring the shop will have been trading for a hundred years.
