Placez will devant le sujet.

Seul will passe en tête :
You will have finished. → Will you have finished?
La réponse courte reprend will
Will the parcel have arrived? — Yes, it will. / No, it won’t.
- Will the repairs have been completed by Friday?
- Will you have read it by the meeting?
La réponse ajoute souvent la vraie échéance : Not by Friday, but certainly by Monday.
How many chapters will you have written by June?
Interroger sur le temps passé change de temps : How long will you have been writing?
|---|---|
| Auras-tu fini d’ici six heures ? | Will you have finished by six? |
| Seront-ils arrivés ? | Will they have arrived? |
| Les réparations seront-elles terminées ? | Will the repairs have been completed? |
L’erreur Do you will have finished? ne vient pas du français.
« Est-ce que tu auras fini ? » n’a pas d’équivalent de forme. Passez directement à l’inversion sur will.
La réponse courte s’arrête à will. À « Le colis sera arrivé ? » on répond Yes, it will, et non Yes, it will have.
La question a besoin de son by, explicite ou entendu : Will you have read it by the meeting?
Will you have finished by then?, jamais finish.
