Lugar
Put the box down here. They’re waiting outside.
She went abroad.
here e there
Here é onde está quem fala; there é qualquer outro lugar.
Here comes the bus. There goes the last train.
somewhere, anywhere, nowhere
A mesma divisão de some e any:
- somewhere em afirmativas: It must be somewhere in this room.
- anywhere em negativas e perguntas: I can’t find it anywhere.
- nowhere carrega a própria negação: It was nowhere to be found.
We met at the station yesterday.
She went inside. — advérbio. She went inside the house. — preposição.
