Quando who é o sujeito
Nada troca de lugar, porque não há outro sujeito:
- Who will drive?
- What will happen next?
Compare com Who will you invite? — ali é you que convida, então a ordem comum retorna.
Perguntas indiretas
Assim que a pergunta entra dentro de outra frase, a troca de lugar desaparece:
- direta: When will she arrive?
- indireta: Do you know when she will arrive?
Manter a ordem de pergunta dentro — Do you know when will she arrive — é um dos erros mais comuns neste nível, e o português ajuda aqui: «você sabe quando ela vai chegar» também não inverte.

A pergunta padrão sobre duração. A resposta leva about ou uma extensão simples: About twenty minutes.
Note a diferença em relação a How long have you been waiting?, que pergunta pelo tempo já gasto.

Erros a evitar
Errado: When you will arrive? certo: When will you arrive?
Will vem antes do sujeito.
Errado: Who will he open the shop? certo: Who will open the shop?
Quando who pratica a ação, não há um segundo sujeito.
Errado: I don't know when will he come. certo: I don't know when he will come.
Dentro de uma frase maior a ordem de pergunta desaparece e a ordem comum retorna.
