O padrão
A única parte que muda com o sujeito é have ou has.
I have been waiting. She has been waiting. They have been waiting.
Na fala o auxiliar se contrai: I’ve been, she’s been, they’ve been.
A duração geralmente vem no fim
We have been living here for three years. It has been raining since lunchtime.
Sem uma duração, a frase muitas vezes dá a entender um resultado visível: You*’ve been running***, dito a alguém sem ar.
all day, all week, lately
She has been complaining all week. Prices have been rising lately.
I’m covered in paint. I*’ve been decorating** the hall.*
As duas metades importam: a primeira é o agora, a segunda diz o que o produziu.

Erros a evitar
Errado: He has been work all day. certo: He has been working all day.
Errado: They has been waiting. certo: They have been waiting.
They é plural, então have.
