Схема

Not встаёт между will и be и сокращается до won’t be:

They will not be working. → They won’t be working.

Отказаться, не отказывая

Отрицание здесь — мягкий способ сказать «нет», потому что сообщает факт, а не решение:

I won’t be joining you for lunch. — меня просто там не будет.

Сравните с I won’t join you, которое звучит как отказ.

Предупредить о недоступности

Самое частое повседневное употребление:

• The office won’t be opening until ten on Monday.
• I won’t be answering emails while I’m away.

Снова глаголы состояния

Для состояния берите простой Future Simple:

We won’t know until Thursday. — а не won’t be knowing.
